Cabot City Employee of the Month

Mayor Bill Cypert presents Deputy Clerk Lisa Wilson with a plaque marking her selection as the June 2013 Cabot City Employee of the Month. Cypert said Wilson was chosen for the award to recognize her hard work and dedication during the month of May. Cypert said Wilson’s willingness to take on new tasks helped the clerk’s department clear a backlog of payments. Annual business license renewals brought the surge of payments to be posted, he said. “While Lisa has many duties, including processing every single purchase order that comes through the city, Lisa brought it upon herself and asked if she could help fix the problem,” Cypert said in a press release. “Her positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks make Lisa the employee of the month,” he said. Employee of the Month recognition includes a plaque, being listed on the Employees of the Month plaque displayed at Cabot City Hall, and lunch with the mayor and the director of operations.
