On Thursday, May 9, the Woodlawn Community Center opened its doors at 10:30 a.m.

Those present included: Mary Thate, Birtha Larkan, Dorothy Henry, Dorothy Williams, Cecelia Anderson, Doyle Anderson, Sue Swayne, Dallas Swayne, Jimmy Taylor, Martha Hicks, Linda Wright, Judy Johnson, Andy Childress, Jackie Maxwell, Sue Grady, Anita Weathers, Adell Hill and Camra Moore.

Cecelia Anderson invited everyone to join her in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. After “God Bless America” was sang, Martha Hicks gave the opening prayer and also blessed the food for potluck.

Everyone enjoyed playing gift bag bingo. There were many interesting gifts.

On Thursday May 16, The Voices of Truth, (Gospel Singers) from the “Covered in Blood” Church in Cabot, will be at the Woodlawn Community Center, located at: 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 North. Come early for a cup of coffee and bring a dish for potluck.
