On Thursday, June 13, the Woodlawn Community Center opened their doors at 10:30 a.m.

Those present included: Dorothy Williams, Dorothy Henry, Cecelia Anderson, Judy Johnson, Linda Wright, Camra Moore, Patsy Moore, Alice King, Martha Hicks, Mary Thate, Andy Childress, Anita Weathers, Birtha Larkin, Shirley Jackson, Sue Grady, Jackie Maxwell and Janet Ray.

Cecelia Anderson invited everyone to join her in saying the “Pledge of Allegiance.”

After “God Bless America” was sang, Martha Hicks gave the opening prayer and also blessed the food for potluck.

Everyone enjoyed playing gift bag bingo. There were many interesting gifts.

On Thursday, June 20, Jade Gibbs, “Miss Cabot” and a talented singer, will be at the Woodlawn Community Center, located at 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 North. Come early for a cup of coffee and bring a dish for pot luck.
