On Thursday, Feb. 14, the Woodlawn Community Center opened their door at 10:30 a.m. There was a good crowd, and those attending were: Dorothy Williams, Dorothy Henry, Andy Childress, Cecelia Anderson, Earl Burgess (Pop), Kern Kennedy, George Wilson, Rebecca Wilson, Sue Grady, Linda Wright, Judy Johnson, Frances Cook, Irene Bell, Birtha Larkin, Mary Thate, Sue Swayne, Dallas Swayne, Ruby Kittell, Roy Kittell, Shirley Jackson, Alice King, Jackie Maxwell, Anita Weathers, Adell Hill, Camera Moore, Ellen Bryant, Les Carpenter, and Cody Carpenter.

Anita Weathers gave the opening prayer. George Wilson invited everyone to join him in saying the “Pledge of Allegiance.”

Everyone enjoyed playing our monthly surprise gift bag bingo. There were many surprises.

Next Thursday, Feb. 21, Pastor Ray Smith, will be our inspirational speaker.

So come and enjoy the day with us at the Woodlawn Community Center. Come early for a cup of coffee, and bring a dish for potluck.
