Wild game supper is March 23 at Concord

Lunchbox Connection begins Friday

Free brown-bag meals will be available for children and families of Cabot School District beginning Friday, March 15. The meals are being provided by volunteers and donations organized by Susan Hedin; the school district is allowing the meals to be distributed at two schools — Westside Elementary and Ward Central. Lunchbox Connection also provided meals during the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Serving is 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wild game supper March 23 at Concord

Concord United Methodist Church will hold its fourth annual Wild Game Banquet on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 6 p.m.

Former Arkansas State Red Wolves football coach and current Cabot School District athletic director Steve Roberts will be the guest speaker.

Admission is $15 for adults 15 and over; $10 for youth ages 7-4; and children 6 and under eat free.

Proceeds benefit the church’s youth and children’s ministries.
