Marissa Ann Peterman and Brandon Cade Hawkins exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot with Bro. John Mark Williams officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Kara Drewry-Hays of Collierville, Tenn., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Candace Miller of Rison, Randi Burkey of Jacksonville, and Shy Matney of Seymour, Mo.
Randall Baker of Clarksville, Texas, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Derek Gunter of Denton, La., Kevin Berry of Monore, La., Clint Hudson and Eric Young, both of DeWitt.
Guest were seated by Jeremy Burkey of Jacksonville, Jamie Miller of Rison and Don Grisham of Cabot. Mya Herbold served as flower girl and Grady Miller of Rison served as ringbearer.
A reception followed at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Mary Peterman of Cabot. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Theresa Peterman of Cabot and Vera Hawthrone of Fall Brook, Calif. She is a 2007 graduate of Williams Baptist College with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education.
The groom is the son of Terry and Rena Hawkins of Dewitt. He is the grandson of Clayton and Corrine Branham of Gillett and Doris Hawkins of Dewitt. He is a 2008 graduate of Oxford Baptist Institute of Oxford, Miss., with a degree in youth and music, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a degree in history and coaching.
After a honeymoon cruise in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
