Malissa Sue Pennington and Jonathan Kyle Wallace exchanged wedding vows on Friday, May 24, 2013, at Gulf State Park in Orange Beach, Ala., with Rev. Robert Bullock officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother Chase Pennington in honor of her late father Michael Pennington. She wore a white mermaid trumpet strapless sweetheart natural waist gown and carried white roses.

Kara Jacks of Lonoke, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Ashton Eakin of Bryant served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Peterson Callihan of Carlisle, Ashley Griffth of Hazen, Amanda Yancey of Little Rock, Kristi Sharolia Zaveri, Kirsti Finch and Lauren McAlister, all of Lonoke. They wore a short coral crinkle chiffon dress and carried a turquiose bouquet with rhinestone.

Robby Matthews and John Keathley, both of Little Rock, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Cory Fontenot of Bryant, Preston Jacks of Lonoke, cousin of the bride, Adam Marrett of Pensocola, Fla., Shannon McClung of Little Rock, Ambrose Baltz of Cabot and Ryan Schmidt of Des Arc.

Brynn Eakin of Bryant served as the flower girl. Kaden Wallace of Maumelle, son of the bride and groom, served as the ring bearer.

The bridge is the daughter of Tina Pool Hulen of Lonoke and the late Michael Pennington. She is the granddaughter of Ruby Randall of Hot Springs and the late Bud Randall, Muriel Pennington and the late Jean Pennington, the late Bonnie Pennington and Ron Pool, all of Lonoke. She is a 2007 graduate of Lonoke High School and 2011 graduate of Remington College in Little Rock as a medical assistant. She is employed as a medical assistant with Arkansas Heart Hospital clinic.

The groom is the son of Judy Wallace of Cabot and the late Robert Wallace. He is the grandson of Betty Dodson of Higden and the late Charles Dodson and the late Francis and Katherine Wallace, formerly of England. He is a 2000 graduate of Cabot High School and 2005 graduate with a bachelors degree in BSN/RN nursing. He is employed as a bsn/registered nurse with Jefferson Comphresive Care.

After a honeymoon trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will reside in Maumelle.
