Mr. and Mrs. Joel Micah Bard

Nancy Elizabeth Feland and Joel Micah Bard exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the wedding barn in Cabot, with Dr. Del Medlin officiating.

The bride, given in marriage by father, wore an essence of Australia gown, featuring Swarovski crystals cascading down the lace bodice over Parisian silk, was a strapless sweetheart neckline and empire waistline was accented with a silk chiffon band centered with diamonte crystals. The floor-length ivory gown featured a flared back hemline gathered with a matching diamonte crystal focal point and silk button closures. The waist-length circular veil was trimmed in diamonte crystals and she carried a bouquet of creme de la creme roses, pink blush roses, peonies, and ranunculas that featured white hydrangeas with a silk wrapping

Erica Jewell of Cabot served as the maid of honor. Rachel Owen of Cabot served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stefanie Arnold of Little Rock, Asia Childress of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Mary Beth Hatch of Bergman. They wore primrose pink single shoulder dresses, featuring a sweetheart draping to the knee-length hemlines and carried hand-tied bouquets of multiple shades of white, ivory and blush pink roses accented with a white hydrangeas and tied with a pink silk ribbon.

Bard Childress of Dyersburg, Tenn., served as the best man. Groomsmen were Seth Bard of Conway, brother of the groom; Dr. Nathan Bartrow of Conway; Price Feland of Little Rock, brother of the bride; Leighton “Bucky” O’Connell-Miller of Chicago, Ill., brother of the bride.

Guests were seated by Cody Burnell, Zack Dayer and Adam Cunningham, all of Conway; and Dennis Jones of Greenbrier. Brennan O’Connell-Miller of Chicago, Ill., niece of the bride, and Maelea Hatch of Bergman served as flowergirls. The wore tea-length floral dresses tied with a silk ribbon. They were halo headpieces with blush pink roses and baby’s breath with cascading ribbons and carried small bouquets of roses and hydrangeas. Braylon Owen of Cabot served as ringbearer.

A reception followed at 8-Point Hunting Lodge in Butlerville.

The bride is the daughter of Will and Martha Feland of Cabot. She is the granddaughter of Armstead and Nancy Feland of Cabot and the late Charlie and Mary Wright, formerly of Thomasville, Ga. She is a 2006 undergraduate of the University of Central Arkansas and 2008 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Crestwood Elementary in North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Joel and Chris Bard of Conway. He is the grandson of Barbar Poulson of Bixby, Okla., and the late Carl Poulson and the late Bud and Betty Bard, formerly of Grannis. He is a 2006 undergraduate of the University of Central Arkansas and a full-time student at the University of Arkansas School of Medical Sciences for pharmacy.

After a honeymoon trip to Barbados, the couple will reside in Sherwood.
