Couple weds in March

Caroline Autry Hayden and James Bryant Gardner were united in marriage March 29 at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Rev. Rodney Schell officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Allison Hayden, of Fort Worth, Texas, and the late Ed Hayden, Jr. Her grandparents are Jim and Martha Zum Brunnen of Shreveport, La., and the late Arline Hayden, Ed Hayden Sr., and James Autry.

The groom is the son of Jim and Melinda Gardner of Cabot and the grandson of Larry and Janice Gardner of Southaven, Miss., and John and Martha Ingle of New Albany, Miss.

Sister of the bride, Courtney Hayden of Fayetteville, served as maid of honor, along with Katie McDougall, of Dallas, as matron of honor. Other bridesmaids were: Shelby Graham of Sachse, Texas; Sara Johnson of Allen, Texas; Margaret Lane of Fort Worth, Texas; Kara McKinley of Tontitown, Arkansas; Gini Offutt of Bristol, Tennessee; and Meredith Sheeder of San Antonio, Texas. Kelsey Jones, of Dallas served as house attendant and Makenzi Roster of Fallon, Nevada was the flower girl.

The groom’s father served as best man along with brother of the groom, John David Gardner, as honorary groomsman. Other groomsmen included: Adam Graf and Cal Boris of Cabot; Matt Burns and Joshua Watkins of Austin; David Cook of North Little Rock; and Michael Roster of Fallon, Nevada.

Caroline is a 2008 graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas and a 2012 graduate of the University of Arkansas earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. She was employed by Bury Partners in Dallas before relocating to Arkansas.

James is a 2008 graduate of Cabot High School and also a 2012 graduate of the University of Arkansas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is employed as a Facilities Engineer with Southwestern Energy in Conway.

After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in Conway.
